This movie is one of the best comic book movies to be released yet.
Michael Fassbender made the movie with his portrayal of Magneto, and James McAvoy was nearly as good as Professor X.
Mystique's really could have been cast better, she delivered her lines terribly almost the entire film. As did Emma Frost's actress.
Kevin Bacon is really enjoyable as the villain in this film. Since I didn't really check the movie out before seeing it I didn't even know he was in it.
Most of the action scenes were done well.
Thoughts?

When they run out of story lines which is gonna be a while its a really long standing line of comics from Marvel.
I think it was pretty damn good, but the stupid little things they messed up in there was irritating. Like how they have Alex Summers in there, he is meant to be Scott Summers (Cyclops), little brother. Well Scott was one of the first mutants ever to attend Xaviers school therefore they've lined that up wrong. It should've been Scott, not Alex in that part.
In Origins at the end you saw Xavier who was not yet paralyzed taking in the mutants escaping the island with Logan, but in first class thats completely ignored. The same with the Last Stand, at the start you see Xavier and Erik who were still friends at the time, going to visit and take in a young Jean Grey. Xavier was not yet paralyzed then either :P The characters that should've been in it weren't. I wish they'd have left that bit at the end out, it could've catered for that stuff then. I think they were too hasty with that stuff.
Its silly little things like that that wind me up but otherwise it was a pretty good film, i liked it.

Well, this film is established as a reboot regardless of what the creators say. There are too many continuity errors, including the ones you mention. It's not a part of the general X-Men film continuity. Which I (and many other fans) consider a good thing. You also have to let yourself accept the facts that the movie universe is not the same as the comic universe and things can be different and good at the same time.
What do you mean by "I wish they'd have left that bit at the end out, it could've catered for that stuff then. I think they were too hasty with that stuff."?

Basically had they left out the bit where Xavier was paralyzed they could've left it open and it could have linked into the other things I mentioned above, but because they wanted it in there they've basically shut the doors on it. If that makes sense?

Yeah, what you said before makes sense now.

One of my favourite movies this year...character development and storyline were great...I love the X-men movies and I would love to see many more (at least more than that vampire love story garbage and the wizard kid who stalls fighting his arch nemesis..)

I thought it was really bad. I am getting a little bit old for those movies, though.

No ones too old for a good superhero smackdown...

I thought it was really bad.
Why?
I am getting a little bit old for those movies, though.
Don't say this is why. Nobody is ever too old for any type of entertainment.

Why?
Because the plot was incredibly shallow, the acting barely adequate, and much of the script full of cliches and generally poor dialogue.

That statement is false on its face. Do you love Dora the Explorer as much as a 2 year old?
Come on now.

I don't know what but... it was kinda missing something. When the movie ended, I wasn't really blown away like I expected to be...
It was a really good film though, I enjoyed it none the less. :P

What specifically was wrong with the plot, acting, etc.? You can say all of those vague criticisms, but they don't really hold much weight.

What if i do? Is there anything wrong with that?

I thought it was pretty good. My only complaint was that it messed with the histories of the X-men. liked the way other 3 movies did.

Such a good movie! The chronology was all messed up though!.

I thought the characters were barely developed, and the development was not interesting. I thought much of the acting was not believable. This was particularly true in terms of emotional portrayals, which I generally found shallow and/or stereotypically and obviously plot-oriented.
I thought the plot was boring and hugely predictable from the beginning, though most comic book movies (and especially prequels) suffer from this. It, too, was disappointingly stereotypical.
Overall, I was just highly unimpressed.
What if i do? Is there anything wrong with that?
Nope, but you might be the only one. Regardless, the overall point remains obviously true: like most people wouldn't enjoy content designed for toddlers, movies designed for younger teens generally don't much appeal to me lately (in this category I put most comic book movies, superhero movies, etc.).
