so I don't know if this is really relevant or whatever, or if it'll get moved- but I thought it was just too funny.

after abstaining from SH for a week, and overcoming most urges lately...

today I was bitten by a doberman [those of you that don't know thats a typical guard dog that bloody weighs more than me!] on the hip bone/stomach, I was in total shock i love dogs!
anyway so I started bleeding and cleaned it out with hot water and thought: so usually I'd do this after I cut myself, kinda weird when its been done without permission!

THEN i realised i hadnt had my tetanus shot [because I have a phobia of needles], so I went to doctor who was like: yup you need the shot, also diptheria and polio youre over due for.
so I pretended I was totally cool with it, almost ran out the clinic but had the stupid shot and a dressing for the bite [see link]

isn't it ironic! as soon as I stop hurting myself I get frickin' bitten by a dog haha, just my luck.

I have had those injections.. Horrible arent they!

That is quite ironic, but it sounds horrible. Normally Doberman's are quite laid back (well i think they are) so thats weird.

yes they are quite horrible! my arm still aches where she injected me

yeah I've known really docile dobermans before but well I'd never met the dog before, my friend was looking after it. It started barking at me so I moved away, then while I was talking to my friend it just jumped at me and I felt the weight push me back and something strong grab onto my hip.
It was so strong, I'm so relieved I twisted away and it didn't really sink its teeth in.

In a weird way it made me feel really vulnerable, I keep thinking how fragile I really am. Just blood and muscle, and if he'd decided to he could have seriously hurt me.
how vulnerable we all are.
im just really lucky!

Oh no :( That is ironic, and must have been horrible! I'm sorry that it happened, and about the injections. It's understandable that you didn't exactly enjoy having the shots though, I hope you're okay now xx

yup Rob on the upside, antidepressants have helped a lot to be honest just hope I can keep going. I would reccomend them if the self harms been going on a long time [2 years for me]

I like dogs, but not overly.

But yeah, shit like that happens to me. I have a little cutting episode, and when I'm almost to the point where it's more like "meh", I'll manage to take a good fall and hurt myself that way :P Fate likes to fuck with people.

well the vaccinations kinda sucked and I was really sick for next day or so
but im cool now (: think the bite will probably scar tho :L typical, not inflicted by me this time though!
