"Friends"
When did I die?
And tell me why.
It's because of you,
Yes, its true.
You hurt me!
We were friends weren't we?
Why did you break my heart?
Now I have to pick up the pieces part by part.
I thought I could trust you.
Everything you got me through,
And all the things you said,
They were all a lie and messed with my head.
Now I pretend,
That I'm still your friend.
The truth is,
I'm still hurt by this.
This all costs me too much energy,
The way you treat me.
It's unbearably hard,
So I play the happy card.
Sometimes I wish we were still friends,
Then I realize that all friendships have their ends.
I need to move on,
The future is what I have to look upon!
