Just though this could be an interesting thread to read how coming out has changed everyone, and a little survey to start things off.

Who did you come out to:
When:

Age: 16
Sexuality: Bi (possible gay)
Who did you come out to: My 2 best friends and a few other friends.
When: January and one friend just is the last month.

It has changed me greatly...Ive been more able to be myself and dont feel like Im lying all the time. Im more happy around my friends also. Its also helped me find out who I really am, my friends have been very supportive. It has also changed my feelings on it too, at first I was afraid of being gay or bi, Im not anymore. Also over time Ive been becomign more comfortable with talking about it. At first Id get very embarresed. I also think it has made me a better person and a better friend.

Coming out...it's been a life saver, to be honest. Before I came out I was starting to become depressed. The only thing that made me happy was talking to my boyfriend online. Now that I'm out, I'm a lot happier, and a lot "gayer" (steroetypical gay I'm talking about), and more outgoing, just everything has improved. It really shows me that the friends I do have care about me, because they stuck around through this, even the two who disagreed with me. It's just an amzing feeling.

Well, I can't say it exactly helped but I can't say it didnt help. Good things and bad things happened as a result which almost equal eachother out. but all in all i only told people i respect and trustm so i guess its all good. im just gonna wait til junior year to stop hiding it.
