Pubic hair color

Does a person's head hair always match the color of their pubic hair? One of my friends is same age as me (14) and his hair is really blonde (like white blond) and I could not imagine what having white blond pubes would be like. He and I are camping this weekend and if I wanna ask him if they are same color as his head hair. Is that a weird question to ask.

I don't think it's all that weird of a question. If you're good friends and have asked personal questions before, I don't see how it would be an uncomfortable question to answer. I had kinda 'strawberry blond' hair (not really ginger) when I was a lot younger, but the hair on my head turned darker when I hit my teens while the rest of the hair on my body stayed kinda reddish blond. So, in my case, "the carpet doesn't match the drapes"...

Yeah iv'e had friends who's hair is darker than their pubes, some lighter than. Everybody's a little different. Mine is exactly the same color as on my head. Like Liveoak said, if you guys are tight with each other he prolly won't care if you ask him.

That's what mine are like. My eyebrows are almost black and so are my pubes. However my armpit hair is closer to my hair color which is odd. But oh well :P

Well the colour of the hair on my head is dark brown and my pubes are almost black. So i guess it sort of matches. As far asking your friend; like others guys have said before me if you guys are close i dont think it would be weird. But i do know that a light blonde kid in my class was asked in front of everyone what colour his pubes were. He was pretty embarrassed so try not to offend the boy lol.

I think it's a rather odd question. I would never do it unless I felt like I really trust the person. In my case, it curtains match the drapes if you get what I mean.

Yea genetics are a bitch, I am actually mixed, spanish/black, my hair is jet black but weirdly enough my pit hair and pubes are really sort of goldish looking, very fair, in fact what little hair i have on my skin is really fair. weird is it not!

on average they can be the same color. Not def. always. My hair is brownish/blond when dry and I have dark brown pubes. Also, if you wanted to ask him about it, just lead the conversation towards "sex" and if he bites the bait, start kidding and joking about pubic hair and then go into "playing" dumb and ask if his matches, laugh as if your joking. In case he gets serious you can tell him you were only playing. People will put down walls in a "playing" situation. try it.

My pubes are the same color as the hair on my head. from looking around the locker room I've seen a couple of blonde guys and theirs were kinda a blondish brown. there is a guy that has white hair but he has no body hair.

If you guys are good friends I don't see a reason why you can't ask him. Don't bluntly ask kinda bring it up while talking about sex or girls then just say your curious if his pubes are the same as the hair on his head. Who knows could lead to more.

I have pretty dark hair on my head and my pubes are lighter.....my brother is blond and has really dark pubes....my twin brothers are like me with dark hair yet their pubes are almost blond.

because of sports i have seen hundreds of guys naked.
there's no rule with pubic hair but MOST guys with dark hair have pubic hair the same color or a little darker than their head hair.

MOST guys with blond hair have dark pubic hair. it's weird it's like that, but that's the way it is. sometimes their pubes are a real light brown, but still not brown. i've only seen a couple of blond guys who had blond pubic hair. one of them is a friend of mine who has really light blond hair, almost white, and it's that way all over his body including his pubic hair. looks cool :yeah:

MOST guys with red hair have reddish pubes. sometimes it's really red.

I has to do with pigmentation and whatnot down there as in people with darker head hair (i.e. me) will have the same color pubes most likely.

Chances are they are much darker then his head hair, and no pubes do not have to be the same color as head hair. Also depending on how good of a friend you are with him he probably wouldn't find it weird.

Pubes are generally a bit darker than your hair color, but the darker your hair gets, the closer the two are in color.
