How did you deal with your first crush on someone of the same sex ? And what advice would you give to someone who is experiencing thier first same sex crush ?

i became all gooey. it was so obvious. i was 1000% in love
it was good, because in the end, we became boyfriends, lucky i know :D

my advice? find out their sexuality, be friendly and gauge their reactions, you never know, they may like you

I didn't say anything, mainly because she told me after she became bisexual that she would never do anything with me.

But for advice, I would take it slow. Be nice around them. Ask their sexuality, and if they're bi or straight, be even MORE nice. Flirt. See if they like you back.

I didn't go for it, because I was working up the nerve to. I dealt with it by telling only a VERY close friend, who didn't know the girl I was chrushing on.

Then I found out she was Bi, so I was goin to go ask her out, only to find out that she was also dating her other friend. I am currently getting over it, she never knew.

Advice: if you know their gay or bi; FREAKING GO FOR IT!!!!!!!

First off, agree entirely with the above posters:

1) Find out their sexuality. Either by bringing up gay/bi subjects and seeing how they react, being close to them physically(!), or just outright asking them! :D

2) Once you're certain they'd be open to being with other guys, find out if they'd be open to being with you! Spend time with them, get closer (metaphoricly and physically), and see if they shy away or respond.

I'm kinda in the same boat as you. I've got this big crush on my best friend rt now. My advice is take it slow. just see how he reacts to the topics and take it from there. That's what I've done and so far so gd. I just haven't got enough nerve to completely tell him how deeply I feel. gd luck! let's us know how it goes. :)
