Well, I'm sure you guys all have female friends out there who say, "I love you <name>." Well same here, and I truly do love most of the girls who tell me (as friends). They're like sisters to me. I have no trouble being around them, and I'm in no way self conscious around them. But when they say those 3 words, I go into some sort of shell and when I say it back it comes out as a, "I uv u too.." They just smile, like my stuttering is, "cute," or something, but I can't tell them with confidence? I'm not sure how anyone could help me saying a simple phrase. This probably sounds silly to everyone reading this, as well. But if you have anything to pitch in, you know what to do. :)
Side note, I couldn't decide where to post this. If it needs to be moved, go right ahead. (:

Well the way i did it was i tried to look them in the eye and say it back so even if you mess it up you have a better chance of being taken seriously (if you shy away they might think your just saying it) and im sure you can do it if you like her enough. Hope it helps:)

Brahh the first half I will definitely try. And these girls I don't like, they're like sisters. Tbh, I am slightly shy around girls, but only one it comes to...the whole, "love," category, without sounding over dramatic aha. But thanks anyways. :P

Like you say mate, it's nothing, so don't dwell on it. Treat as a friendly expression and not a literal one.

i have a very hard time telling people i love them (even too family) but i try to show them more than tell them. and if just friends i can tell them joking around like if they called me a donkey i just tell them you know you love me :d

Hmm, well there are different kinds of love. There's between friends, between lovers, between parents, between siblings. Understand that this isn't the romantic love, maybe that'll make it less awkward.
