perhaps there should be a "police force" on vt. this will consist of members that have absolutely nothing better to than report everything that breaks the rules.
i allready consider myself a "vt policeman", lol.

stupid idea, but maybe it'll work. just maybe...

Nope, because everybody can report, and the staff already have a good handle on taking care of whatever problems show up. There are more than enough staff members, and not only that but the recent modifications in the system make it even easier for them to do it faster.

There's no need, nor is it really reasonable to add any other title other than the staff.

You fail to mention any purpose for this in your post.

What do you think moderators are for?

That's a nice suggestion, but we already have moderators, plus anyone can report a problem.

It would be a very useless usergroup for people to argue over. I don't think that's such a good idea. You can report things as everyone else can and we implore you to do so as it helps us, but People don't need a cookie for that.

well you could have a group of user that evey so often go thorugh and remov eold threads and such whre the oringinal user has been banned or the thread is not approitate you could have them delete and clear up the system a bit ??

Yet again, that is what us moderators are for. We do the best as we can to keep the site tidy.

Why bother? Old threads are useful. Just because someone was banned doesn't mean they were a bad person. Aside from that, mods do a good job at cleaning up the spambot attacks.

So basically you're saying add a completely new branch to the staff just because. No reason. Just because you have free time.

yes it makes sense give everyone something to do

I like the free time due to the fact that since most of the fourms I post in are always the same questions just asked differently and not many post in VT Hospital it has forced to to branch out to the other forums. I am enjoying it.

Ok, never mind then.

Its a help site, this is what people are here for. If they have nothing to do here then that means they've got the help they need. They're not obligated to stay here unless they're here to help other people as well as get help themselves.

We don't need a special branch of people just to report things, members do that themselves when they find something they think needs dealing with. It'd be unneeded and very unnecessary.

this is pointless.
The Moderators and Admins are already 'VT Police"
Plus anyone can report theres no use of making a new staff group just for whatever reason or for wanting attention

And just remember that little report button helps us out alot to take care of situations

Yeah, why don't we just give everyone access to stuff behind the site, whether we know if they are responsible or not?

The administration add staff members they feel are responsible enough to carry out tasks that have been mentioned above.

Giving everyone "something to do" is just asking for people to abuse the theoretical system.
