Sharp pains

time to time, i have sharp pains near my scrotum. not exactly near it, it's between the area between my testicles and anal area. it just feels like someone is pinching that area.

i'm not sure if it's a big deal, it happens about once a month. and i'm just worried. it usually happens when i get up, after sitting for awhile. has this ever happened to anyone else? and is it something i should see a doctor for?

Probably just your groin getting strained after "sitting for awhile" - if you're sitting in a weird position or something that might be stretching it that could be the problem. If it persists I'd definitely see a doc.

i just hope it's not testicular cancer... and how do i know whether it's testicular cancer?

Groin pain is listed in the symptoms but since you're saying the pain is rare (once a month) I wouldn't put too much weight on it. If it increases or you really feel it could be a problem you can always ask your doctor at a physical or something similar.
