Mom and dad smoke should I worry?

I'm 13 normal kinda family I guess, I got brothers and a sister and ofcourse mom and dad but they both smoke ciggerates which I think are yuk! They sting my eyes when I'm in the room with them and me and 2 brothers got asthma too. I have asked them if theyl stop but they were like its nothing to do with me:(. But it even makes my clothes smell real bad too!


And I really wanna know like normally my legs and arms are like normal skin colour but I notice when mom and dad are smoking in the car or in the kitchen my legs n arms go kinda whiter its baad!

You should try to reach someone about this. if your siblings have athsma, i'm pretty sure there are things that can be done to make your parents smoke out of the ouse.
It's everything to do with you and your siblings, it's your health.

If your going pale, youre probably not getting enough bloodflow or oxygen (or both?). In the car, open up a window when you can. At home... I dn't know wha to tell you. Your room might be the safest place.

That's a horrible situation :( My parents also smoke and it used to really bother me but unfortunately you can't make them stop. Try telling them what you have told us, or as much of it as possible, and ask them to at least step out if they are having a cigarette. Other than that you and your siblings can only really try and avoid them when they are smoking as much as is possible, and like ShatteredWings said try and open up windows and get as much air as possible.

I agree with ShatteredWings - Try and reach out to someone about this problem. Its a very hard situation you are in, the only thing you could so I guess is try and open windows inside your home and in the car. Also go outside as much as possible for fresh air - and also to get away from it.

In regards to clothes, try and keep all your clothes in draws, and keep them closed. Also closing your bedroom door wouldnt hurt.

Also try and shower each night - and wash your hair. It may help.

Being pale could be a number of things - Cant really say without any further detail.

Yea even mom says I should wash my hair everyday she said ciggerates and hair stick together! Yuk! The thing that's gross is the end of there cigerate like when they get them it's all White and the ones in the ashtray go like really dark yellow! Urgh kinda must be like that in my hair

That's the tar dude which goes into the filter when your mom breathes it in. But it doesn't get all of it, your parents smoke them to get the nicotine that's in them. There addicted to nicotine not the actual ciggerate

That sucks Matt97. Your basically smoking the same amount as they are. And they probably gave your siblings asthma. In Vancouver where I am its illegal to smoke around children in confined areas, like cars and stuff. My parents dont and i'm glad. smelling like smoke is gross. tell them to smoke outside! its a disgusting habit. or just leave a picture of one of those people that have to breath and talk through a hole in their throats.

Hey I ask them all the time too go outside but try kinda look at me like to say no! They got me stuff to spray my clothes with but doesn't work too much :/

Maybe talk to an aunt or uncle about it. If its enough smoke to penetrate your clothes, and hair. Your at real risk of second hand smoke health concerns. Like cancer, asthma, and all that other nasty stuff. I wouldnt want to live with them anymore if they dont recognize that your worried about your health and theyre so arrogant that they wont even go outside for their disgusting habit.

yea the kinda wierd thing is when they are smoking at home like I have asked what cigerates are like and they even say to me if you ever try one youl get such a hiding, they say they are expensive and they say they can't stop having them:\
