I'm wondering, I can understand if a boy broke the hymen of a pre-teen girl who was young enough that she had never masturbated before, BUT if the girl was a teen, wouldn't she most likely have already broken her own hymen by penetrating it while masturbating?

Well... When YOU masturbate do you touch a lot of things or just one? It all depends on what the girl likes... I mean she could like being anally penetrated or just like the feeling of touching her clitoris. Some guys just prefer masturbating with their penis, but others do it anally, too.

Some girls have a broken hymen due to sports.As someone said you don't have to masturbate only one way if you're girl(goes for guys too :P ).Plus a lot girls I know think masturbation for girls is gross.

When a girl masturbates and either penetrates the vagina or what ever she likes doing if she likes penetrating her vagina she will more than likely not break the hymn because when she does go in and out it won't break it because it won't have enough force and will only break with a dildo or a guys penis. Learned all this in health class.
