I didn't put this in the political survery bit because it's very specific.

This will probably only make sense to Candians, so if you live somewhere else, and you have an opinion, please also tell how you know so much about the subject :)

I have lived in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia and Québec, and that's just in Canada. I have seen more of this country than I had cared to, so I would say I have a pretty good idea of the opinions from across the country.

In Alberta, I witnessed bottles thrown out of car windows at Québécois vehicles. Wherever I went, when people heard I live in Québec, All I'd hear is how we should just seperate and that we wouldn't exist if Alberta wasn't funding us. This always made me laugh.

In Ontario, I am made fun of for speaking French anywhere past Ottawa. They think we're arrogant, and should seperate.

In B.C., everyone's stoned so they don't have an opinion. LOL totally joking, not so much hate which is nice, but shock (I guess we're so far away, they don't see us folk on a regular basis).

I support the Bloc Québécois as a Québécois, and the main thing I have always been against is seperation. I don't see it as economical, nor do I see it being benneficial to the Québécois, nor to Canadians. But with this much hate towards us, I don't think it would bother me.

So what's your opinion? Are you one of those who bashes Québec and the Québécois, but have never been to Québec/been to Montréal once and think you know Québec? Do you have a valid, hatred of Québec? If so, please state your opinion!

How do you guys feel about us and why?

Peace God

Well I don't really know any.

They seem like the type of people everyone makes fun of but no one actually hates. Like jews...or lesbians.
