I tried to imagine death just now...

...and I can't. I can't imagine death. What happens?! I can't imagine not thinking. I always think about complex scenarios, but I can't concieve of ending.
I accept it, but I don't.

What do you think?

Ya its one of lives great mysteries that everyone wants the answer to. No one but the dead know what death is like. And were gonna have to wait to find out. I wouldn't worry about death though, its just part of life.

Alas, comrade, you cannot conceive death as it is the loss of human emotion, feeling and perception (in nonreligious or spiritual terms, anyway). There's no way a human can fully empathise with having literally no consciousness.

No one but the dead know what death is like.

What if there is no afterlife?

Jons definition is pretty damn good actually, I'd say it was that too. Its one of those things no one will ever really know about, cause there isn't really a way to find out. The closest most people get is near death experiences. My heart has stopped several times. But in total honest the only reason i knew my heart stopped in the first place was because i was told sometime in the future. I don't physically remember it myself so who knows what happens?

I tried to imagine death just now...

That interesting, am I?

Okay, I'll be serious...

...and I can't. I can't imagine death. What happens?! I can't imagine not thinking. I always think about complex scenarios, but I can't concieve of ending.
I accept it, but I don't.

You've been 'dead' for a near eternity before you were born. Just imagine being asleep; not really having to think about anything.

What do you think?

It's nothing to be afraid of. I mean you don't have the capability of being upset or frightened when you're dead (or asleep without dreaming), right?

I think that we are just here, we make choices, shit happens and we die. There is no meaning to life. There is no after life, there is no heaven or hell or reincarnation or spirits. We are here, we die, that's it. Assuming that there is something that is meant to happen puts too much pressure on us! Just live the way you want to live, make yourself happy, make others happy and rock on, dude.

I think the main thing is what happens before you die. Either it's painful or not, but later on I think you just go into an eternal sleep.

I think the mind is a irrecyable energy(I hope :D ) and our mind gains wisdom from this body and just floats around :D.Kinda of boring but that's what I think :P.Either way ,I'm fine with eternal sleep or a heaven.Hell, even hell, since I'm bi and being gay is a sin ;D!Forever gay parties in hell xD!

And I'm not scared,

Glad to hear it.

I just want to emulate the feeling to know what it's like.

Well it won't feel like anything, will it? You won't have feeling. It will be just like being in dreamless sleep forever. No worries, no cares...

I think that if you sit down and really think about it, what are the logistics of an after life? How would it work. How can we be concious of it with no brain? How can we know what is happening if we are dead? What is a soul? Can a soul think? Where does the soul go? Where is the soul in our body? Why can't science find them? These are questions that can't be answered, and I think that is largely because it isn't real. It's a nice story, to help people accept that they will die eventually and to scare people into being good so that their souls don't burn in hell after they die. But really, think about it. We are animals. What happens when a squirrel dies? Or a pig? Or an ant? I just like thinking realistically and I think that the circle of life is beautiful enough as it is without fantasizing about what if's and could be's. But that's just me. :P
