American idol????????

Okay, so I watched American idol and I thought, maybe I could go on there and get far. A lot of people tell me that I can sing really well, but some people say I can't sing at all. So, what should I do? Should I go for it?

Nothing wrong with auditioning. Go do it, and if they tell you no, don't be offended. Several people can sing, just not what the judges want to hear at the auditions.

Yea, but the problem is that I am a few hundred miles away from where the auditions are.

well if you want to and your parents will take you, go for it! I want to, just not yet, I know I have a good voice, it just needs more time and I need more experience

I would go a for it :) I can sing ok but I'll be better off at a piano bar :D.
