but as I said, I'm not the best.I can feel you. First thing first, download a lot of brushes(useful ones), and let's see how you do.

You should know by now that relying heavily on brushes is a bad idea in the makings my friend.

You should know by now that relying heavily on brushes is a bad idea in the makings my friend.That's just the first step. Using brushes is one of the easiest things to learn and you can do many good things. That's how I learned using photoshop. Using abstract renders with different layer settings, texting, and creating depth and flow can come later - learning to soon is good, but it will be difficult for the mind to assimilate.

Indeed, but brushes become a heavy crutch for most people. Telling people to download a brush set shows them how shit-easy it is and they very often become dependent upon brushes to create pieces and in turn don't much experiment or learn anything about how to utilize the program.
