After 5 years my man praposed to me with a beautiful ring and i was estatic

..skip to a few weeks after...

I love the ring (http://www.zales.com/product/index.jsp?productId=11418616)(White gold) a lot for it's flower design, the thing i do not like about it is the side view...its a triangle and I think it cheapens it's look.

I am stuck on the flower design so this ring (http://www.dealstudio.com/searchdeals.php?type=id&q=d233999&ru=27706656) is my only other option and i really like it but there is a

$200 price difference

My question is,

am i being selfish for even considering a different ring let alone a more expensive one?

I just really need advice on this and need to talk it out

A)thought you would love
B)he could afford.

personaly i think your being selfish. its not about he cost of the ring, its about the fact he has chosen you and you chose him. if you want to change the ring, ask him, but dont take his first answer. make sure he is truely ok with he change. but also, think; if you were him, would you want your bride to be to change the ring you chose for her because it "looks cheap from the side"?

you should just be happy with what he has gotten for you (its a beautiful ring!!!!) and feel grateful that he actually loves you!!

oh and yes, i think you are being selfish.

btw, how old r u? cos this is called virtual TEEN for a reason so........

That's a beautiful ring. Really though. Its a symbol of his love. How do you think he'd feel if you went and said I really love this, but can I have this instead? He probably looked for a ring he thought you'd love. It'd be like slapping him in the face.

The ring is lovely anyway but i think it should always be the thought that counts and telling him you want another one would be cruel!

Personally I would have picked the silver one because I like silver more than gold but I also think you are being a tad bit selfish because that is what he thought you would like and most guys don't know too much about rings anyways to begin with and seeing that the one he did get you is still very nice and damn, it's shinny!!

You should love it, why, what did you get him in return? It is a random gift that shows his undieing love and eternal commitment to you and you don't like it?

i agree

plus just to say you can be on this site up unitl the age 19 i think and maybe if u r good they let you stay on VT but i know u can be on this until the age of 19
