Hi eveyrone, just wondering if anyone else my age (13) is like me and havent had their periods yet.
Have you had discharge?
Are you scared of getting ur period?
Do you already have supplies just in case?
Have you been researching info about online?

Exactly as the others said, don't worry about not having it at 13, some people just get it later than others. If anything be happy, I started when I was 11 :P

I got my period at 13, it seems like that's the average age. but you could get it later, no biggie. yeah, I researched a lot about it lol and lemme tell you, you'll be so excited once you get it but then after two or three months you'll just be like fuck this shit.

Everyone's different. My mum was fourteen, I was eleven. But yeah, like Kathy said, count yourself lucky. After eight years of bleeding five days a month, dysmenorrhea being bad enough to keep me home from school and work, getting your tubes tied sounds all the more appealing, especially if you're like me and will never have kids so your period serves no point.

Well, my Dr. Told le weight has something to do with it. When I joined the cross country team I lost a bunch of fat and stopped having a period for months. On a side note my mother swore I was pregnant, it was an awkward couple of months.

I don't know. In that sort of case, maybe. I've always been petite, and I was early. I've stopped getting my period for large amounts of time before, but that was only once my anorexia started. I think it's more genetic than anything, and also reliant on your diet. What nutrients you aren't getting and which you are. I've also read that the age girls start getting it has been decreasing over the years, probably because of how our food has changed. Girls who eat meat with added hormones would probably get it much earlier.

I didn't get mine until I was 14, but I've always been pretty thin.
I wouldn't worry about it at all, everything I've read has said don't worry about it unless you're 16 and haven't gotten it yet.
As for the supplies question, there are other females in my house, and all of those supplies are kept in the bathroom, for anyone to use, so I didn't have my own stash, it was just there.

I started my period at 13, so don't worry, it is perfectly normal not to have started yet and will happen someday. Try not to worry about it, it's really not as terrible as some people say- it can be a nuisance at times but it's pretty easy to deal with. As for the supplies, I had some before I started as a "just in case" kind of thing, I'd suggest you do the same and then you're always prepared. :)

You shouldn't worry about the fact that you haven't got it yet unless you'd be like 18. That's when you should see a doctor/whatever about it.
And even if you wont get all the pain thingy and easy periods, you probably don't want it once you get it.

I started at 11, but my mother didn't get hers until she was 16.
And honestly, you'll fucking hate it once you get it.
