Indian Heritage or Humiliation?

Do you guys think School Sports teams and mascots are offensive to the Native American culture. Or does it honor them.

I myself am a quarter native american,I sadly don't know too much about my culture.I'm sure some of people who are more into their native roots might find and take a little offense.I am into my Hispanic culture and I don't get too mad when i see stereotype jokes,but that's just me.

I'm sure my great grandpa would be pissed.I don't think they should sling those type things around everywhere though.I'm just not into my native american culture,so Idk.

I'm not native american myself, but I think it shows that they're being accepted as part of american culture and therefore is not offensice.
