I hav this slightly large lump under both my nipples and I've noticed my breasts have increased in size, I'ts nearly a dead cert it's Gynecomastia but I was just wondering, I've heard it can go away in months or years or maybe stay there forever but I was wondering, How usual is it to disappear and what's the chance it'll stay there forever? Also, Is it still safe for me to be working out? (E.g. Push-ups, Sit-ups etc. )

I believe you have what i refer to as a "Nipple Rock."

They are perfectly normal, and from what i understand you can get it fixed. And yes, its perfectly safe to do whatever you want. Its only cartlidge (I think)

I have that aswell i think it goes away 99% of the time, and exercising does help a bit, try things like running, or cycling they are the best for burning off the extra fat that develops, just dont go over the top!!

Yea I have that as well and i'm fairly sure that working out won't do anything bad. I still do push ups and sit ups or whatever and i have had gynecomastia for like a year and nothing bad has happened with me:)

I also notice that the skinnier you are, the higher the chance of having nipple rocks. All my friends that have it are skinny. I got some meat on my body, and I dont have them

Eeek... never heard of that.... (looks it up on Wikipedia)

Well, personally the medical explanation of it does't really make it seem like something 'normal' as to say, but in retrospect, it's not really anything that would damage your health.

But again, from your symptoms it really doesn't seem like the first described condition of gynaecomastia. But, as with most things on here, it would be better if you go and see your doctor about this, they know best lol.

Hope all goes well!
