I BOUGHT A MAC BOOK!... just thought I should say. So wats everyones opinion of mac?

I own an ipod and have used many mac computers. Imo, they should stick to music devices. But this is coming from a toshiba laptop user, so... yeh.

personaly i like both mac an PC equally, i want in ibook for a laptop but i would rather have windows for a PC OS

Personally, I'd prefer to use PC and configure it to my needs - as it's what I've always done. I've used a few Macintosh computers and found that they operated. They just don't suit me - maybe it's the interface.

Anyway, I'd used one if there was nothing else, or if the PC to chose from had less processing power and less RAM. Otherwise: PC.

Mac any day for me. I've got the MacBook Pro 15.4" Intel Core 2 Duo 2.16gHz, 2MB Ram. It suits me for what I do in my spare time, which is mainly photography and filming. And Macs just work, you plug something in and hey-presto! it works, no annoying drivers.

You'll bloody love it btw. Any Mac question go ahead and PM me :D

well... ur compy is like ur car... i would not be seen in a yugo, just like i dont wanna be seen in garrisons (internet cafe) with my best friend's gateway. i want something uniqe. i wanna think different. Macs ARE customizable, and come with a poo ball load of software. graphically, OS X is far more pleasing to the eye than xp, and I can install xp on it (i play star wars galaxies.) please dont make baseless accusations such as "macs suck", and remember, difference in thinking advances society, so it's ok to make choices (within the confines of the law) outside of the mainstream.

Lol, yep, you're right there. You'll be amazed when you put Windows on it (use BootCamp from Apple website) because it actually runs faster on a Mac system as apposed to what it is meant to run on, a PC system.

I like Apple a lot, and I think all of thier products are really good. I have a white macbook along with a custom built PC and I think the macbook is the best out of the two. it's the best computer i've ever owned. It does a great job running photoshop and editing videos, and was only like 1,500 dollars.

report card for mac: no crashes, no freeze ups, no driver hunting, no problems whatsoever and screw windows im not tarnishing my beautiful black macbook with redmond's crap!

I would love a mac, but 1) I have just got a new laptop, 2) I cant afford one.. but my uncle has one and i love it =]
