C'mon admit it, we all have guilty pleasures... We ALL do!
Whether youre a rapper with a thing for celine dion, or an dub stepper who loves a bit of Miley Cyrus, we all have a secret love with music.
So on that note I thought this thread could be place to admit you're guilty pleasure, a song, a band, an album. Whatever it is embrace your different, embarassing, shameful, funny guilty pleasures here!
For me *sigh* I admit I have a fair few pop-charts, Disney type folk on my iPod, and I consider myself to be a bit of an indie rocker. So it is vry shameful for me to have Britney spears, Miley Cyrus and jedward on my playlist!
Also I LOVE mindless self indulgence, and their like metal on acid, which is another guilty pleasure of mine :)
What's yours?
Peace God

I have a hard time feeling guilty about the music I listen to, or anything I do for that matter. But I guess I can say that...
I do enjoy a lot of 90s "altenative" and/or "indie" rock groups that are pretty overrated.
And I've always thought Kanye West was a pretty good producer (rapping, not so much).
Oh and I have no clue why I've watched more than a few seconds of this video...

Are you kidding me? She's hot as fuck and her raps are pretty good, but I don't like the beat.

Okay, fine. No one knows this one except the very parent who bred this into me but...
There's nothing like passing the time in traffic singing Cher songs at the top of your lungs.
I've also told few people that I have Lady Gaga's The Fame Monster. The only other thing that I'm embarrassed to have in my iTunes library is Die Antwoord. No, I'm not a rap person, at all.
Yep. That's it. Everything else I have, zero guilt.

People who feel guilty listening to something they like must not like the music in the first place. I feel no guilt with what I listen to. Music is subjective, and until people are able to get this simple enough concept through their thick ape heads, everyone will continue to criticize what others enjoy.

People seem to think i mean 'guilt' in a very strong way. Well I don't. Ofcourse I don't feel guilty about the music I listen to, that's mental. What I meant was simply was there any music which is out of the ordinary, of your own personal comfort zone, on you playlist.
Seriously, have you guys never heard of a guilty pleasure?
I mean having a guilty pleasure like a bar of choclate at the day, not an 'extreme' guilty pleasure were you actually feel regret.
Glad that's straight.

Actually, that's what I look for when searching for new music - something out of the ordinary and not in my comfort zone, because that will only expand my comfort zone. I want to hear new things and things that sound completely strange, crazy and weird. I don't see what I would have to call guilty in that. No, I don't have any guilty pleasures.

Snow Patrols 'The Lightning Strike' (these were the same guys who did Chasing Cars, drop in talent much) and Slipknot's 'Vermilion Part 2', because I hate both bands.

I don't feel guilty about mine; even though I know its not usually common for people my age. So my guilty pleasure for music is a handfull of the popular nickalodeon people (mainly Miranda Cosgrove, espicially Victoria Justice. I can't help but love them! There music I actually can relate to.)

Blood On The Dance Floor.
ohmygod.
I used to hate them because everybody else did. Until I kind of looked at them from an unbiased view, and I adore them. I'm not entirely sure why. I want to hate them to conform, but I can't.
They're definitely not my favorite band but I listen to them more than I should..

YES. She's amazing and is the only person who can pull of auto-tune.
I don't think I've ever said that out loud..
Cher. Definitely.
And the musical Grease, I can honestly say I know every word to each song from that movie.. at the top of my head.

I'm a rocker chick/ slight metalhead with a soft side for ambient music, stuff like that, and I have a secret guilty pleasure for cirtain kinds of, well I'm not entirely SURE what it is, but I think it's pop. I don't know what it is cuz I don't download it, hence the secret guilty pleasure XD And also, the band Cults, which is a lesser guilty pleasure, but a pleasure to listen to nonetheless :D

Nerdy dubstep, I guess? Like that dubstep remix of the Harry Potter theme, and I think there was one with the Doctor Who theme also. And maybe also a tiny little bit of Justin Timberlake. Damn, all my hipster friends would kill me if they saw this.
