Sounds like every other brostep song ever made and I don't mean that as a good thing.

Also, you sampled the snare and kick. Wow.

I'm hoping that was a compliment. So I'll take it that way :DDD

It wasn't a compliment.

Lose the heavy wobble bass. Try not to make music that emulates a lot of other artists. Experiment with different sounds. Try something new and more original.

Well you are a stuck up cock aren't you.

You asked for opinions, you got his. Is that too hard to cope with?

Me, I don't like dubstep at all. This was no different.

Yes, I did ask for an opinion. I can take a bit of crap from people who don't like my stuff, but to insult the way in which I made the song goes a bit too far. He's talking like he is the God of music. That he knows everything about making music. I'm just learning at the moment and have no clue as how to go about making my own drum samples. I did however spend ages Mastering them to get the sounds I want.

Also, an opinion on a "song" is to give your ideas about its quality, appeal, design, etc. Attacking the whole genre and whining about how much he hates it is not an opinion in my eyes. Then to slag off my capabilities (which had nothing to do with the topic) was highly inappropriate.

Usually an opinion is left with a bit of constructive criticism. Giving pointers on how to improve the areas they didn't particularly like. He has obviously seen the thread, clicked on it and wrote his comment without any sense or thought, only driven by his hatred towards dubstep.

Your comment however, was a perfectly acceptable and legitimate comment. You expressed your opinion and chose not to insult my ability to make music. I can accept your opinion, but it was not "helpful" in anyway. As the title suggests, "Attention All Dubstep Listeners", this thread was meant for people who enjoy listening to this type of music. So please tell me, since I'm the author, does MY OPINION not count?

Does you see what I'm trying to say now? I nver forced him to click the thread, but he chose to.

TL;DR? I think so.

Fair point, but as to the music god comment, you may want to check out his user forum on this site, 'Tims Music Guides', and then review that statement.

I gave my post sense and thought. My post is valid and my critisism is true. It's nothing more than another generic brostep song where you sampled a kick and snare. Nothing new there.

but it was not "helpful" in anyway.

Really I don't see any way anyone could ever make dubstep good to me, especially the garbage brostep. Ok? There's no advice to give. That's like Brokencyde asking what they could do to make crunkcore appeal to more people other than thirteen year old scene girls. It's just not going to work.

As the title suggests, "Attention All Dubstep Listeners", this thread was meant for people who enjoy listening to this type of music.

I'm sorry, but when I see dubstep I have to shit all over it. There's no way I can have people smiling to this thread. If I see a Nickelback thread I'll gladly take a dump on that one too.

Also, you really expect to become better at making music if a bunch of people who already like this type of garbage are just going to say, "Well, this is pretty good!" You're not going to get any better with that!

So please tell me, since I'm the author, does MY OPINION not count?

Sure. Everyone's opinions count. Even the douche bag named deadpie.

Already explained why, get over it, the song isn't good at all and that's the end. It's really sad that you're bothered THIS much over some simple boring dubstep song you made with an illegally torrented version of FL studio.

I'll leave the thread for good now if that makes you happy. I'm glad I got you this bothered over something so tiny. I know, you think this is like some magnum opus project you made, but it isn't.

Is there a good way to make music on the computer? This dose not sound like any instruments I know, at least nothing electric.

I can make music using computer, but not this genre, no.
