Hey, so i get these immense headaches that gradually get worse. with or without medication. haven't seen a doc ( not enough insurance as of right now) and i haven't had caffine in a while. It usually happens when i'm not on my period. i have to take 1500 mgs of tylonel for it to even ebb away. and i don't want to overdose. so any suggestions?

I would say see a doctor, whenever and as soon as possible. DO NOT go against what the writing says on the Med Package, being in Aus, Im not to up to date with "Tylonel" but what I do know that it is a Analgesic and Fever Reliever. 1500 mg seems way too much. If you need to go over what is recommended - its either to serious, and needs attention - or you need stronger pain relief.

I know it is hard to do but try to see a Doctor ASAP. Keep your water intake right up, stay away from Caffeine, Inc Chocolate. I would also recommend try staying off the Computer, and get plenty of rest. In all you need to see a doctor.

If you need anymore detailed med advice, just message me or post it here :)

Since Tylenol contains Acetaminophen -which is complimented for things such as headaches- you may want to try Ibuprofen. Ibuprofen tends to work better for things such as swelling; however, individuals respond differently so you may want to give it a try, who knows? I must say, that if the recommended dose of Tylenol doesn't help you, increasing that won't help tremendously and becomes more dangerous.

Try to figure out the triggering of your consistant headaches. This could be anything from: stress, depression, hunger, eye strain, etc. Obviously, if you keep getting headaches, there's something wrong that can be fixed. Also, caffeine -in a small dose- may help you as it constricts blood vessels making the pain retract, in most cases.

As I've stated, these are only temporary -possible- fixes when this should be checked out further by a professional. I'm simply trying to offer a remedy until professional diagnosis.

How much is a small dose of coffee? I usually fill a mug with black coffee.

Acetaminophen works on the neurological level and Ibuprofen works as a anti-inflammitory medication so taking them at the same time would affect both parts of the headache and I would not recommend taking anymore than the recomendation on the container.

so would you say take one of each?

Personally I would cut the amount that you take of each in half, one acts on the Central Nervour System and the other on the Peripherial Nervous System. So if it says take four then I would take two.

Please stop taking that much tylenol, it is very easy to overdose and the levels your using are already higher than the highest dosage.

Non US residents, Tylenol = acedominphine = parmaceterol
