perhaps because people who play sports tend to exert more testosterone, so perhaps speeding up their puberty process. :)

Where's the logic in that? How exactly do you exert testosterone? There's no simple way for teens to speed up puberty anyway, if not don't you think they'd all be doing it? I don't think it would even be possible for a teen to without access to specific drugs.
