best friend Need some help

So my best friend was really liking this one girl. so being the friend i am i tried to hook them up. but she ended up liking me and also him. i got to know her also and started to like her also. i want to date this girl but i also dont want to lose my best friend over it. ANy advice?

Yes, I have some advice:

This happens to lots of people, so it's pretty common. I suggest that maybe you both just become normal friends with her. See what happens. If one of you finds another girl as time goes on, then the one that doesn't find another girl will stick with the one you guys have now.

Talk it out, if you want her then let her chose between you and your friend.

Maybe you could talk to your friend about this and explain to him that you dont want him to get mad at you but you ended up likeing her as well and tell him that maybe if she likes both of you it might not be worth your time and in the future if she decides which one of you she reallys likes you can talk about it and hopefully come to an understanding. Its probably not the best advice but I tried.

Seeing as I dont know your or her feelings 100% correctly.. Id say just wait let your friend make a move on her.. Relationships in our age arent long, only rarely and I think your friend wouldn't mind if you go out with her later.. But yeah you could talk to him depends on how much you like the girl

im in the same boat as you (sortof, i think). there's this guy i like and my friend seems to like him too....even though i liked him first.
