Honestly, I haven't. I choose to stay this way to because I don't see a point being involved with anyone 'romantically' if I know I truly don't love them. I see it a lot at school, people go out for a like a month and poof - the 'couple of the year' is no more. It's almost as people treat relationships now a days as a 'fashion statement'. Like wearing a pair of new shoes and a nice hat.

So my question. Have you even been in a relationship?

Same here, and as austen said, to busy with school is also a factor. I'm already in hot water with school. If I had a girlfriend, id probably drop to a low with school.

I've had one for a few months, but that blew up. I haven't really had many other serious relationships, just a few. But they weren't intense. I haven't found someone I'd really want to be together with for a while. Right now I'm just into hanging out with people and not wanting to have the feeling of a relationship on my shoulders.

I'm pretty sure that I've answered the poll differently to how you expected... I answered that I had been in a true and serious relationship because at the time we were both taking it seriously and thought it would last forever and all that shit. But looking back I can see that it was just like most peoples 'jokey' relationships.

I also agree with what you think about relationships being more of a fashion statement now. I've noticed that a lot of couples are very flirty and sexual when they're around school and when they're not in the open they're not as obvious. So I do think that a significant amount of relationships, at the minute in my school, are based more around popularity than actual love.
