Life is so fucking precious. It can be taken away, in a second. And I only got that by being diagnosed with cancer, good god. I will never cut again. If I can help it. I won't waste my life like that. if I survive. Its so precious, you don't understand how precious until you find yourself thinking you might lose it.

Well done. I'm sorry that cancer was what made you decide that though.
But good luck, I really hope you succeed. :)

I can't possibly express how happy I am for you. :) That realization can sometimes take nothing, and sometimes, takes everything, to come to, but you have to do so eventually to survive. Life is priceless. The most important gift that can ever be given. And that might sound sappy to some, but it really is. Some know that at an early age, and some take their whole lives to find it out. While life is tough, there isn't anything beyond this. Even with the Christian faith, you have to understand you'll never get a second chance to be on Earth, in this body. (I think I formulated a statement that is fully religion-proof... :P).
Even though you get to survive this, you're able to take a walk in those shoes without the full consequences. I think it's a gift, quite honestly. A blessing you could say, if that was my faith. It might put you through a few things, but you see it now, and you're going to survive. Coming out of that situation with a new mindset.

I do understand Rith :) (I'm catholic for the record). I'm not wasting this anymore. And I know exactly what you mean, it isnt fun having cancer. But you're right, this new mindset, I'm gonna use it.

I'm glad that you have made this decision. It's good to know that you have truly understood the sanctity of human life. You are in my prayers. (I'm Catholic, too, by the way)
