Problem?

I know puberty can be slow, but I turn 14 in two weeks, and my only sign of puberty is a tiny bit of pubic hair. Should I be worried?

I heard that if you don't hit puberty by 14, you're suppose to see a doctor? Well, what about me?

there's a puberty test link on this site, I recamend trying it out to see where you stand in the stages the test breakes puberty into. In my opinion you are fine, I'm still in puberty and I'm 16 without armpit and much visible chest hair.

That is not true puberty can start anywhere between 12-15 for guys so dont worry about it you just seems like a late bloomer if you dont have much hair by the time you are 18 then there would be some concern just let you body grow at it's normal pace and im sure you will be fine :)

I don't think you need to see a doctor. I didn't have pubic hair when I was 13 and most of my friends didn't either. Some people can start puberty at the age 15. I know one of my friends who didn't hit puberty until late 15. You shouldn't be to worried about it.

i'm 14 and have only a small patch of pubes above my penis and just recently got a few pit hairs. some of my friends have a little more hair then me and some a lot more.

puberty shouldn't take so long. that's what i hate. i'm sure people have said, it's normal and everyones different, but it doesn't change the fact that the whole thing freaks us out. Me i developed early buy i'm crazy short. at my school at the end of PE we all shower at the end and it's 7th, 8th and 9th graders. I'm 13, a 7th grader and notice that you describe yourself like some of the 8th graders. id guess more than half have some hair, so you aren't crazy behind.

in the end we want to be right in the middle. i started getting hair in 6th grade, and no one else did so i got a lot of looks. 6th grade was the first year they made us take showers. when it comes to naked time, id be happy to be average in every way!
