Still doesn't make up for the loss of personal details.

Its the same here, except instead of Ratchet and Clank we have Super Stardust HD.
Personally, I think this makes up for all of the time down. The whole 'personal details' thing doesn't really bother me, as I had no credit card on it, and I probably used a fake zip code and definitely used a fake birthdate. And it isn't like I can't just get a new email address.

Same. I didn't have any credit card information on there, nor will I ever. Besides, I used a secondary email address so I don't really have to deal with any spam. Obviously had to use a fake birth date. :rolleyes:
I think this is a great package that Sony is putting out. At least they're trying to make up for time lost. Obviously those with personal data can't be given some package to make it better.

They could at least give a GOOD game! These games are all out-dated and very cheap on the market.

I think its pretty sweet. I have a UK, Irish, and US account as well, so I can have all the games :D
Oh yeah, for those who've linked their accounts to their PSP's, you can pick 2 of the following
LittleBigPlanet PSP
* ModNation PSP
* Pursuit Force
* Killzone Liberation*

Your point being? It's two free games that, depending on the price, would go for 40-50 dollars just for two games. Last I checked, Dead Nation and Infamous were both 40 dollars each new at Gamestop.

Dead Nation is PSN only, its $15 off the top of my head. InFamous is platinum, so be between $20 - $30. I agree with your point though, these games rock, and they didn't have to give us anything. InFamous specially is one my favorite games ever, so hopefully more people will play it.

Hmm, I wonder if they will offer U.S. residents the same thing?

Actually, they are.

I think he means will we download them or get them on disc. We download them, should get them around the same time the store goes back up(24th may) or a few days after.

From a corporation it's a good deal but that doesn't defeat the fact that after the free month of PSN+ expires so will your access to any of these "free" games. I'm not angry at Sony they've handled this reasonably well from a corporate point of view.
I had my credit card details on the servers, but no activity has been noticed so it's fine, I guess, they are giving a year of data protection service too though.

The PlayStation Network will be offline from 4pm today until midnight, suggesting that the Store will be back up and running tomorrow, as previously rumoured.
“PlayStation Network is offline for scheduled maintenance,” says an update from Sony, which also states that that gamers will be unable to access the following services:
•PlayStation Store on PS3 and PSP.
•PlayStation Network Account Management.
•PlayStation Network Account Registration.
“In addition,” says the bulletin, “you will not be able to sign in to PlayStation Network from eu.playstation.com.”
“If you wish to play online during the maintenance, please ensure you sign in to PSN before 16:00 on Tuesday 24 May 2011.”
“During this maintenance, you can continue to collect in-game trophies and these will be updated on your profile once PlayStation Network is back up and running.”
