My friends and I are working on an educational mobile app and would like your feedback. A lot of teens find it difficult to study because they a lot of activities, but they are also on their phone a lot as well.

Here is my idea: What if you could study while you texted? Basically we have a list of 500 SAT words. Every 10 to 20 texts, a multiple choice question pops up and the user has to enter the question correct otherwise it delays the text being sent by 15 seconds. I realize that this is not for everyone but it has helped me improve my vocabulary and I wonder what other people think.

We also built in a feature that allows you to snooze for 2 text messages in case you don't want to answer the question right then and there.

Would you find this useful or would you find it too annoying? What if you could limit the popup to a total of 3 or 4 per day?

Last question: if you like this app what would you pay for it?

Hi! What do you think you would use the app to study for?

what systems allow that much freedom? i'd think that something like that could easily turn into adware.

anyways, sounds cool!
perhaps you'd share your code?

I'd imagine only Android.
iOS & Windows phones wouldn't allow that.

Please excuse the bump.

I'm wondering how it's worked out so far?

Same here! It seems like a great idea!! Also, it could work on Jailbroken versions of iOS :)

Now if only my computer had something like this... (It would need to be cross platform... I'm always hopping between OS's)

Sounds interesting and the user always has the ability to not use the app if they don't want... but will only be used while studying for the test...then what...maybe just a random trivia question or so something..

I think random, mainly English would be best the longer the question to answer the more annoying the less it would be used

As for paying... hmmm well to be annoyed with a delay in your text? Not sure how many would pay for it... but if you charged..would have to be cheap...
