View Full Version : Why do I never feel bad?

What I mean by the title is I never feel bad about my drug usage, to a degree I'm proud of it. Seems like most people who do drugs seem really sad and mad at themselves for it, least people who post on this sight. So is there like something up with my head that makes me not regret anything?

Also I've done weed, pills, synthetic weed, cocaine, and I want to do lsd and shrooms.

I wouldn't say there's anything wrong. Frankly, your avatar says it all. People don't so much feel bad about their drug use as they do about the effect it has on their lives and other people. If you've got it under control, I see no reason for you to feel bad.

I think it's something that everyone handles differently. To add to what JunkBondTrader said, I think most drug addicts only start to feel bad when they see their life deteriorating around them. Until then, they're invincible. There's no issue when they shoot up, or snort a line, because it doesn't hurt anything. That's the other thing you've got going on - you think they will never hurt you. And if you're smart about it, they likely won't have much of an impact. It's that whole addiction thing that causes drugs to become life-ruiners.

There's no reason to feel bad, aslong as you don't steal to fund buying drugs or are violent/unpleasant when you're high, there's nothing wrong with it.
Agree 100% with the avatar :)

I've been through a lot of drug use, and I mean A LOT. I don't feel bad either, but it doesn't mean it's a good thing.

While I still indulge in smoking pot, I have virtually cut chemical drugs from my life. They make me emotionally unstable, even when not taking them, they screw up my sleep patern, and mess with my school.

You may not see any negative impact now, but trust me; you will. Having a deviated septom, sinus problems for the rest of your life, memory problems for the rest of your life.

I don't believe in regret, because all experiences, even negative, are a learning experience. But the after effects are real, and they will effect you. Don't expect to get off scott free.

This really.

If you have it under control and it's not causing harm to yourself / other people, it's no real biggie.

Couldn't agree more. A good life lesson is never cheap.
