i need to know something

as a drummer (and being 14 playing 10-11 years) i have been having a lot of knee pain lately and i think its bc of my duel bass drumming like slipknot, metallica, and avenged sevenfold... but i was told it could be bc my legs are getting longer can some one plz help me out?

It could be a number of things but since you have been playing for so long i dont think it would be affecting your knees now. My guess is that your legs are growing and you might be getting growing pains in the joints ya know? Just curious, how tall are you and have you grown a large amount in a short period of time?

im about 5ft 9 and i have slowed down in growing

yeah i would say just growing pains then. the reason i asked how tall you were and stuff was because i grew very fast in a short amount of time so my ligiments and tendons are too short and it causes a lot of pain, but your hight and age would suggest growing pains.

Did you recently change the way you were playing the bass drum? If so, then that could possibly be it, but otherwise I would say it's growing pains, which will go away eventually.

Doesn't sound like anything too bad. Could just be due to drums or growing ect. If it gets too bad, or dosent go away - go and see a Doc for advice and peace of mind :)

I'm in a band and our drummer always has knee and leg pain. It's to be expected until you get used to playing, especially since you haven't been playing long.

my leg (will knee) has been hurting for the past umm 6 weeks and about 10 weeks ago i started playing my drums like 8-10 hours straight can some one help me out should i go and see a doc or something

Man, if this I'd starting to hurt you that much then you need to go and see your doctor about this. It is most likely some developmental pain and I could rwcoment is some ibeprophen which is an over the counter anti-inflammatory medication the come in capsules of 250 - 500 mg. Please consult your parents and physician first.
