im being tormented by the "popular girls" in my class, they start rumers about me and are always saying mean things to me. and the worst part is other people in my grade are starting to believe things they say about me and nobody talks to me. i hate my life its not fair. i dont want to go back to school ever.

I'm going to be flat out with this. Middle school girls absolutely suck.
Have you tried asking them why they're mean to you?
If worst comes to worst, just keep your head up and looking forward. Only a few years of middle school

Ignore them and don't pay attention. They are attention seeking, immature little girls who are trying to fit in. If it gets worse GO talk to a counselor or the principle about it to make it stop (it is after all their job to stop it and help). DO NOT LET THEM PUT YOU DOWN. You are who you are and don't let anyone make you feel bad. They are most likely insecure and they decided to pick on you and if you ignore them, they will eventually tire of it and leave you alone. Be strong.

I'm in the same position as you, it hurts andwhen they go around trying to embarress me and make me feel like shit, I just want to cut myself.
But what I do is just laugh along with them, they expect me to feel shit about it so when I find it funny they don't get the reaction and they stop after a while.
Don't pay them attention, they don't deserve it, and if anything happened to you, they would feel shit and guilty; that's the test to see if they hate you or just are jealous. If you think they would feel bad, then their jealous.
