Trust is like a twig

You snap it
it's broken
no longer one piece
left in shreds
in a mess
splintered, dissarayed, destroyed

Can you fix the twig?
make it what it once was
no missing pieces
together
and perfect?

the twig may be fixed but it will take a long time to fix it. You must glue the twig, tape it, staple it, and burn it together. (metaphorically speaking that is.)
