I need to know what to say?

my friend is having some problems and i need to know what to say to her she just told me y she is having a annoying life. she said "well when ever i ask my mom for a straight answer she gets mad and flips out, the hole world knows i "ran away." also appt, difiss,. and i cant sleep and i hate school and i am failing on perpose, and" what should i say to her?

Try and help her dissect the problem. When we get depressed, our judgement gets clouded and we tend to view things in a far too negative light, seeing everything as hopeless and unchangeable.

Try asking her why these things are happening. Why is she failing on purpose? What keeps her awake? If it's a medical issue, encourage her, but don't pressure her to get help.

Other than that, just be there for her. Be her friend when she needs it most.
