It's not illegal or anything to masturbate on your period, you can do it if you're ready for the mess on your hands... It's definitely alright to to it in the shower or bath, probably a good idea. And yes, you can orgasm while you are on your period. (:

when you are on ur period that is the time when ur hormones are racing. however do whatever feels good although i might advise that warm water takes away your bodies natural lubrication. it still feels good u just won't get wet.

other than the mess, there is no reason at all not to masturbate while having your period. like many here have said its great for relieving cramps. As a bonus, for me at least, my orgasms are sooo much better a few days before I start and a day or two at the begining....then they go back to normal.
