An amazing aircraft with little chance of mass use as civilian passenger transport, due to the 77W (777-300ER). size is too similar, 50 more on the 748, and a 4 holer (747) is just less efficent than a twin (777). I would love to see it be huge in the passenger market but looks like the bulk will -8F's.

I'm not impressed. The 747-200 is still the best 747 IMO

I don't like how they gave it an Orange color. I like the traditional blue Boeing house color...

Needs more customers. I think the 747-8 is not necesary. The 777-300 Which is more efficient and can do almost the same job is just fine. BUt still the plane is as sexy as Beethoven ;)

Meh. To me it's not as good as the A380.

I think it is one of the sexiest airliners ever flown.

I've flown many times on 747 since the Virgin AtLANTIC flight from MCO to LGW.

That aside, it's still the world's longest plane.

It's interesting I give it that, boeing are just trying to breathe new life into the 747 programme. I believe it will be like the MD-11. A few pax models but lots of freighters
