Are girls as perverted/sexual as guys?

Hi,

First of all not sure whether this suits here or the Teen Sexuality thread or some where else altogether. Anyway was wondering are girls anywhere near as perverted as guys are or just sexual in there thoughts? Because most girls I've been able to talk to thoroughly would never ever mention anything on that subject. Maybe its just the fact the two types of groups of girls I've ever known/seen at school were the we know a fair bit about sex or they think they know alot but they also think they are too cool for anyone. Or the we are christian and so innocent that we freak out at any form of mention to that subject. Yeah I was going to a Christian school now I'm at a Catholic Tech College with like only 20 girls in the whole school and none in my class. So this is based off the school I was at last year.

Anyways thanks for any comments. Always wondered this but don't know any Aussie who are like it or anyone at all that would tell me one way or the other.

Oh and I do realise it depends on the person but from what I've seen only guys seem to ever think pervertedly. So...

Well, as you said, it's their thoughts - girls aren't going to automatically express what they're thinking about all the time, same as boys don't. So I'd say, there are definitely girls that are just as/if not more 'perverted' than guys are in their thoughts, it's just that some are more open to talk about it and others won't. I'd say it depends a lot on how you were brought up, whether religion is a factor and where you live, as to whether you're open enough to talk about how sexual or perverted your thoughts are.

Good point. It seems to just be the communtiy of the school I was last at. Damn am I happy I'm out of there. And well now I'm in a community with no girls/women I really am able to talk to at all =(. Just noticed how open most of the people are on here and well its disappointing I haven't met anyone in real life like it...

i think that generally, girls are as sexual as guys (dont know about perverted) but girls are less open about that sort of stuff, at least around guys or in public.

Besides that I find that kind of to be a shame because guys then keep into themselves around girls. And well I know for a fact most guys would probably find that too be a great thing.

i can be, jus depends who im around, it mostly would depend on the girls personality, if im around friends (most of mine are lads) then i can be even more sexual and perverted then they are cuz i feel comfortable round then n i know they dont care, but i wudn be like that round other ppl r i rarely am in public cuz im a girl n ment to act all lady like n blahblahblah... so id say that girls are just as perverted as lads jus many arent as open about it =]

I wouldn't describe sexual thoughts as "perverted," but yes, girls do think about that. It depends on the girl. Some will speak their thoughts, others are more shy and quiet about the subject. But yeah, we all think about it. Guys, in my opinion, think it makes them look "cool?" to talk about it and compare things they have done. Well, at least the guys I know do. Mostly girls will talk about it with their close friends, though. :)

Girls have a censor and a screen. We can hide what were thinking and how we feel pretty well compared to guys.

Oh Yes, they just keep it all secret ;) The girls i know may not talk about it as much as us guys, but we use it mostly jokingly, while they are serious when they talk about it. The first and only time me and my other 4 guy friends saw porn together, it was when a friend of ours (who was a girl) jumped it on us (laptop)....unfortunatly it was gay porn...

This isn't necessarily exclusive to girls. I censor much of what I say (well, whenever it's a situation dealing with my real name) and I'd be willing to make the bold claim that I display more self-control than almost every girl I know. Nonetheless, I'm still fairly perverted, but I keep it to myself.
