I'm not sure if this is in the right place or not, if not correct me please. For a good while now, I've wanted to build "friends with benefits" relationships with a few of my friends. (they're girls by the way) Not because I want sex, (and by sex I mean vaginal penetration. Everything else I'll do as long as they want to as well.) Don't get me wrong, please don't. I vowed never to use anyone (especially a girl) like some toy (or in this case sex toy) and then throw them away when I'm done with them. I want to build these relationships for 3 reasons. 1. I want to grow closer to them physically (as we already have a great emotional relationship) 2. I find them very attractive. 3. I trust them and care for them. So, is there anyway I can ease my way into a relationship like this with my friends? Thank you for your time.

Friend with Benefits relationships are by my opinion very very complicated. for these reasons:
1.) One person usually gets attached
2.) It can be weird if one wants to stop it
3.) Once someone starts to like another jealousy could arise.

A friend with benefits is usually a situational thing. As in, both are u live near eachother and are single and horny. SO u decide to have sex no strings attached. I dont think you c an really make one as the way u describe it. I think you have to start off with just sex and then make it a regular thing, if u start off as friends, its more complicated.
But these relationships are the hardest to come by, maintain and end. So tread carefully

i have a friend who was in a friends with benefits situation. he fell in love and is now in a living hell. he is the worst i have ever seen him.

now if you really really really want this, then make sure that both understand that if anything becomes more than FWB you end it, there and then.

Well, with all the people I would like this relationship with, I was friends with them first. We didn't get attached to our friendship however, so it shouldn't be that complicated. At least I hope not. What do you mean by "jealousy could arise"? And by "one person usually gets attached," do you mean that one person could start to like that other? I don't entirely understand what you said, so if you don't mind, could you explain it differently please?

Well, I did bring up having a friends with benefits relationship with one of my friends before. We both agreed that if we start to develop feelings, we'll stop.
