me n daddy had a huge fight, he said i should be happyer, i should be walking round with a smile on me more often, i should be sooooo happy cuz im sooooo lucky to have such a great family (heavy sarcasim used on my part) he called me every name he could think of n i jus shouted back, then i came upstairs n thinkin to myself ''oh yeah, il have a f**kin smile on me the whole time now, jus for you daddy'' carved a =] into my shin n i cudn even stop there, ugh i hate that its always the first thing i think of wen im angry/sad....ok dont know why im posting this, jus need to tell someone, so ummm thanks for reading? >.<

Sorry you felt like that >: I hate it when I fight with my family members. Arguments with them are usually what drive me to cut the deepest.
It's kind of backwards that he demands you be happy and just drives you to anger and sorrow. Maybe tell him that his yelling at you isn't exactly filling you with rainbows and puppy dogs? Or something so he understands...

Nobody but yourself has the right to tell you how you should feel. I have a similar situation with my family sometimes. They expect me to be happy, but I'm often not. I usually try to avoid talking with them, but then they get mad at me for being so reclusive (which doesn't make me feel any happier...) If you want to talk to somebody, I'm here for you.
