Random Car Explosion on Black Ops

So I chuck a random tomahawk (like I do whenever I spawn) a few seconds later I get a defense medal (I was playing domination), but no scalper, longshot, etc. I figured it was worth looking into. So in theater as soon as I get the points I compared the deaths after the medal to the deaths before the medal and narrow it down to one person. I watch this person for about thirty seconds before I get the medal. It turns out that a car exploded by the B flag and for whatever reason it gave me the points. I was wondering what would cause this.

P.S. Is anyone else having trouble rendering clips onto the black ops theater website?

the simple solution is, if someone shot the car and damaged it to where it was about to blow and then your tomahawk may have been the 'last straw' so to speak and you will get the points from there
