So I go to a school where about 85% of the students are prejudice dumb fucks. I like to piss people off. I have super long hair, I am a grammar nazi, I am athiest, I'm a gamer, and I have a great sense of humor(In my opinion). People's opinion of me is eithier, "He's fucking hilarous!" or, "Wat a loozer fag," I argue with people all the time. I thrive off of insulting people and them not realizing it.
Example:

I'll do a new post. I guess PSP's have a character limit.

This girl was reading aloud a part of the novel we're reading.
First, she read about a word a minute, and the she came accross this word and froze up:

Alas

"Uhh uh that word, " she stumbled.
At this point my mind is blown, so I mutter, " What an idiot.."
She heard and flipped out.
She was calmed by one of her loser friends, though.

Am I an asshole?

I love long hair, grammar correction is greatly appreciated, atheists made me realize how brainwashed people are, and I'll probably think you're hilarious because I find nearly anyone funny. :P

I found it hilarous, and the class split into the above mentioned sides. I want to know what would've happened, though. I made this thread because she yelped, "Hey, asshole!"

I'm kind of like that too! Only I unintentionally piss people off. Happens here all the time. See some of my older posts.
Most of the time when I piss someone off, they are never my friend. I usually regret it later. But I've gained yet another enemy :(

Depending on the person and how well I know them depends on whether I would laugh or not. If they were one of those stuck up people because they think they are so smart then I would've laughed. If it was someone who was generally stuck up because they just think they are awesome again might've laughed. If its someone who obviously comes from a shit family and hasn't been treated well I would've bashed the fuck out of you or insulted you for being an asshole. Depends on the person you have to take in consideration what they have been through and why they have trouble reading.

Just comes across as another person who is immature and doesn't take everything into consideration because they ahven't grown up yet or are stupid themselves.

No offence to you dude, and you might think of me as stupid for thinking this.. but anyone can be mean, it takes a strong person to be nice.

Now i love anyone who can take the piss out of anyone, and by the sounds of it your happy to be laughed at, heck having long hair and playing games all day, your open to alot.

I dont really know the situation, so i cant really feel sorry for her or not. But you saying her "loser friend" comforted her, ill back her up.
If she really is stupid, and self concious of that fact then small comments like being called an idiot infront of the class when she really did make an idiot mistake she couldnt help would cut her deep.

I'm a lot like you, actually. I fall into those two categories of perception: "He's really intelligent/funny." or "He's such a loser."

I straight up tell people when they're being idiots, when what they're doing doesn't make sense.

I tell my teachers when their tests or assignments are idiotic, why, and how they can fix them.

Everywhere I look around me, I see stupid staring me in the face, and the only thing I can do is inform people of it.

Well, your opinion doesn't matter when it comes to someone's reading ability. It's not like she's illiterate. In fact, you deserve every bit of that "asshole" title she gave you. People can have trouble, and they don't need some troll making it worse.

I have 3 or 4 people in my class that do the same, their reading is just awful, normally I just laugh to myself or say something to the person next to me.
I think that if you muttered it wasn't that bad, but you must said it loud, since the people in your class heard it... In my opinion, you're not an asshole, but you should try to be a bit more discrete, even though I don't think you're psychologically capable... :P

Yeah, you seem to have a bit of an "asshole" personality to me.

That's mostly because I've really grown sick of the "everyone else is an idiot" mentality...you don't have to be remotely smart or clever to think that. But that's not it, it's one thing to think that, but judging from your very first statement and that "what an idiot" comment for not being a good reader, you seem to take pride in conveying that mentality as well. I won't debate whether or not it benefits you though, if it works for you than fine, but to me it seems like nothing more than meaningless way of attempting to show your superiority.
