Am I addicted to porn

I look at porn at least once to twice a month and sometimes 3 to 4 am I addicted to porn and what is a good way to stop the reason I want to stop is I'm christian and I know it's very sinful of me to do this please tell me a way to stop. PLEASE!!! :(

Basically, occupy yourself doing other things. Read a book, play video games, do homework, whatever, just get away from the computer. If it's really a problem, turn off your computer and put it in a not easily accessible place. When you do this, it wont be as easy to look at porn, and you'll hopefully think about it before you do it

i watch porn most of the time when i masturbate.

probably at least 5 times a week.
but i tried giving up watching porn for awhile, and i went about 3 weeks.
playing video games, finding interesting hobbies and etc will help.

You aren't addicted if it's a max of 4 times a month. It's normal for teen guys to watch porn. The sinfulness of porn is VERY subjective. If you feel it's a true sin, then keep yourself occupied, like donkeymkong said. But you are not addicted to porn. I'm not saying you should or it's not a sin, just answering your question. If you like watching porn, then you shouldn't ignore what your mind's saying. Like Ima.Monster said, you're young and full of hormones. It's natural.

It may be hard at first since you think you are addicted to it, but you can slowly start to watch less and less porn as the days go on and then you will eventually stop watching it :)

I was only saying that because it would be very hypocritical for someone else to say that it's wrong and disgusting if they do it as well. Sorry for going over the line by saying that.

I would say "agreed" but that would be blunt, pointless, and boring. So instead I'll say this. Porn is addictive, thats the bottom line. Lots of people do watch porn and a few times a month is seldom for average amounts of time put into porn. Addiction varies to certain degrees, you may be addicted, but on most standards its not bad. Now to the solution. First of all, addictions are never easy to break. The one and only way I have found to be an easy escape route from an addiction is transferring it. Basically, find something you enjoy other than what you're trying to stop. Slowly invest your time in that activity more often and you should find yourself away from the previous addiction, now on whatever activity you chose. I, for the record, have used this technique twice. When I tried to slow out, the result was ultimately, the addiction stuck.

I don't believe you're addicted at all. I myself know for a fact it's incredibly difficult to not watch porn and being a christian does not help its that whole forbidden thing that gets to ya as well at times it seems. At the moment is probably a easier time to quit altogether although your curious about the matter. Once your older thats when the problems occur cause the hormones don't die down quickly they seem to build up. And then your friends around you talk about similar subjects and say they do to. So you feel you fit in but you know it's not right. For now remember God loves you and you are forgiven you are human and not perfect. Sinning is human nature no matter how good we think we are we just aren't. Thats the reason Jesus died. So we are forgiven you will make a lot more mistakes to come.

I find that just masturbating when you have to urge to turn on the porno is most effective. Gets it all out out of your system at once.

Im christian and i would say 1 to 2 times a month would be mildly addicted and it is a sin but when you're a teenager you have the full load of hormones to get used to and sometimes you just need to release the stress, and i have a problem with hentai as well as porn so you're not the only one! I have gotten to where i look at it about the amount you do and maybe reading the Bible will help you as it did me when i was fully addicted but if you cant stop watching porn, atleast just completely switch to hentai which isnt as bad because you are just looking at an animation.

I do not think you are addicted to porn in anyway at all. I was like yourself I was addicted to porn at one time, but I accepted that it was very wrong and not what God would want me to do. Since I started going to church again, and just being a better christian all together, I very rarely look at it anymore, and I think I am at the point where I can give it up all together. So all I can tell you is try to get more involved with religion like I did or like many others have said read a book, go outside, go on skype, or play video games. As mentioned, many times, a few times a month isn't an addiction. If you're a Christian, then that's your choice and if your religion thinks it's a sin, and you don't want to sin, then you shouldn't watch it at all.

Some versions of Christianity believe masturbating is a sin too, so if yours does, you shouldn't be doing that if you don't want to piss off your God.

However masturbation is generally accepted to be a good thing as it allows people to explore their sexuality and their body safely and allows them to relieve stress, so I wouldn't recommend it! But then again, I wouldn't recommend religion for any sane person!

To stop looking at it, take your mind off it and do other things such as sports or a hobby, which can be used to stop masturbating too, or just masturbate without porn. If you feel you've already got out of hand, install an internet blocker to block you from looking at the stuff.
