sore eye

ok this is odd, i have a small lump on the top of my eye well not my eye, but the bit of skin that comes down and covers the eye like when blinking, anyone any ideas what it could be. i also have like sleep in my eye but i have it almost all day even if i remove it, it comes back(sortof) but its not like normal sleep and its just basicly anoying plus my rubbing tryign to remove it makes my eye sore, plus i know that my granma or something became blind somehow and im scared that might be happening to me. :confused:
it might be nothing but i just want another opition
