Concert Junkies

Anyone else out there like me?

I'm absolutely addicted to concerts. The good thing though, is that I can afford them because I don't have a mainstream taste in music, they're all around $15 unless I'm getting VIP tickets. I go to any and all concerts in my area (of the few things I like about Atlanta, it's one good thing, how many concerts go on around here) that strike my interest, and I'm into photography and film as well, so I photograph them and record songs regardless of what security wishes. My camera has HD sound and video, so it is excusable to be in the pit and record it.

Does anyone else constantly go to concerts? Which ones are you looking forward to?

My current line-up is...

Blue October - May 19th
The Airborne Toxic Event - May 24th
Florence + The Machine - July 1st
100 Monkeys - July 26th
Kamelot - August 16th

Not the best year for concerts for me, sadly.

I also want to go to Progpower but I don't know if I'll be able to afford it :P

I love going to concerts, the only problem is getting enough money together to go tbh.

I love going to concerts, the problem is that I live a bit far from our capital or any other big city, which is where most concerts happen. For example, right now, really right now, MGMT are playing in Porto and I'm 350 km away... The other problem is the money, but oh well.

I'm looking forward to a summer festival I'm going to, Super Bock Super Rock. Arctic Monkeys, Arcade Fire, The Strokes, Portishead, The Walkmen, Slash, Beirut, The Kooks, Brandon Flowers, Tame Impala... to name a few. :D

And after Deerhunter's confirmation to another festival, I really want to go to it!

I love concerts! I'm going to the Van's tour all day concert thing this summer so excited!

I'm addicted to concerts as well. They're my hobby almost, though unfortunately I tend to be a fan of bigger bands so tickets are more expensive, and they're not always coming around my area (I live in Arizona). But I've still managed to see my 3 favorites in concert so I'm absolutely fine with that. My list is as follows:

I'm really jealous that you're going to go see Blue October and Florence + The Machine..

I go to a concert almost every weekend. My tickets are usually only about $10. I go to mostly my friend's concerts and local bands though. I prefer smaller concerts like that though, at a little music venue. I actually can't stand huge concerts.

I could be at a concert today, but I didn't plan ahead and have no way to get there now. :P
I saw Anarbor last weekend, who I actually really enjoy. They played with my friend's band, and the ticket was only $10 plus $3 minor surcharge. So yeah, I do really enjoy going to concerts. I plan on going to Pointfest May 15th, hopefully and Warped Tour in August. :D

I love going to concerts too! But what with exams and stuff this year I have none lined up... except for maybe, hopefully Young Guns with Aaron in September!

Last year I went to Download Festival and saw Paramore :)

And hopefully I should be playing a gig in July! :D

I've only been to one major concert, and a few free ones with my parents. The ones with my parents I wasn't really interested in, but who doesn't like free music in a park and getting to meet new people?

I can't say that I'm a junkie, but I definitely do like concerts. The one I went to was a lot of fun. I just don't enjoy drunk/high/on drugs people all around me while I'm trying to have fun.

I like going to festivals, though the music normally isn't great. There is plenty of cheap drink at overnight festivals and other shit. Though sometimes I like going to the jazz club. one of the best percussionists ever: Artur Graczyk

I've been to David Cook, Adam Lambert, Kelly Clarkson, and the 2008 idol tour. All were AWESOME.
