idk where to find the phone modom software that is legit, ive searched for the software for hours so ive come here for help.

A Google Search (http://www.google.com/search?q=lg+vu+phone+modem+software&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a) is simple and fruitful.
When I tried it, I thought this (http://www.lg-phones.org/lg-vu-drivers.html) may be of relevance to you. But that's up to you. ;)
