Ok... my dad keeps on sayin' that he's gunna give me "the talk" I already know abt sex and that stuff but he doesn't know that but if I tell him I already know he will think I've been watchin porn and will kill me. So should I act suprised or what. I want you're opinion abt this.

well my parents waited until I was 14 to give it to me, and I had known about sex since probably before even 10. Thank goodness for friends! lol so when he did give it to me, I didn't really act surprised, i just didn't say much at all

Simple just say
"Mom, Dad they taught it all to us in school I know what it is. I also know the risk to it also and the different things that can happen."
Easy as that.

Many people do learn from friends. But if you say school taught you could be in quite the predicament if your parents gets mad at the school. I just say to tell him you know flat out. If he asks say you forgot how you learned it like you learned it while ago.

Well your 13... 99% of 13 year olds know what it is already so just tell him you figured it out from friends or something. Dont even bring up that you dont watch porn cause that will just make them suspicious

@ ausy 94- yeah that would work but I go to a private school(it sux) so I don't think that would work.

And the whole friend thing.... lets just say I wouldn't be allowed to be around them for a long while.

But thanks for the help. :)

Oh yeah, should I just act suprised and not say anything or what.

I think you should just let him talk to you. Don't be nervous, just let him think he's doing his "job" as a parent, and move on. He doesn't have to know that you already understand, and you don't have to "act" any certain way. :)

From my own experience, I learned a lot of this stuff in school (it started when someone sang the" big butts in the canada" song at lunch time, on my first day of third grade) if he asks, just tell him you hear this stuff around you...

Have the talk with your dad. You can ask questions. But be warned, after I had the talk, I left the room light headed and embarrassed.....and grossed out....

Why can't you just sit through it...? Wouldn't hurt. I don't think he'd care if you knew anyway, "the talk" is mainly just for parents to make sure their kids know what they think is correct.
