View Full Version : "Hate leads to suffering"; rejection leads to cutting

Being rejected by the girl you've totally fallen in love with and liked for four years is the worst pain imaginable. Even worse is that Sarah has known I've liked her for at least a few months, and she hasn't even said anything until now, so I was able to at least keep a shred of hope. "Lauren, we can never be more that friends, ok? I like guys, and, well, you're not a guy. We'll never be more than friends. I don't mind, but you've got to stop hanging out with me or people might start to notice. We can never be more than friends." The pain of cutting distracts me from the pain of Sarah's words.

What's it like for you guys? Have you been rejected? Do you cut? Why?

I've been rejected. I cut for other reasons, but it really sucks she doesn't love you back. Why does she say you can't even hang out together anymore? That's messed up

I love Tina...and I've loved Tina for ages...and at first she said she was bi and "changed her mind"...so now I burn Tina into my legs.
I know how you feel, you probably got off much worse than me, and I'm sorry, it really must be hard for you. Talk to me anytime, I promise it'll be better soon
