I think this is a very generous gift for a such a large corporation to be giving to its consumers, as long as my credit card doesn't become compromised I will continue to be passive and sympathetic towards the company, that's what these incentives are for after all.

Well they better give that to them. They F'd up by letting their system get hacked. Not good enough security. That is Another reason why Xbox-360 is better.

I'm actually surprised a corporation like this is doing this as a form of an apology. Most corporations wouldn't even give the days that the network was down back to your subscription. They're doing the right thing, but I'm still annoyed at their lack of security.

They would have had perfectly adequate security strong enough to cover the Data protection act, whatever organisation that targeted PSN were professionals, who probably could have hacked Xbox Live too if they wanted, Microsoft would just be better prepared to sterilise the system.

I'm pretty happy that we're getting something in return. I hope the free downloads are actually something good though, not something that everyone hates.

They're a multi million multi national company what the fuck did you expect? The fact that they've even acknowledged fault to their consumers is well enough to me.

Playstation + looks less appealing when everyone has it.
Also I hope for U.S. they credit $59.99, for a full PS3 game; It seems highly unlikely however.
