I found out we are getting a new doctor, a lady one, im not sure if I will be comfortable with her touching my junk, what if I get hard while she doing what she does?
Guys/girl do you prefer a doctor of the same sex?
Have you ever felt real awkward or had an embarrassing experience in the dr office?

I have a male doctor and am more comfortable with him than i would be a female, still pretty weird having an adult touch your stuff though.

Well my last 2 doctors have been women so it was a little awkward having them feel me up. But they were both older ladies so I never got a boner while I was having a physical, but I'm sure they wouldn't have minded. I mean, I'm sure MANY people do get them during physicals. But thankfully, my last doctor retired, so now I have a guy doctor, and he's pretty fun

Whenever my parents find a new doctor for me they make sure its a male because they know it can be awkward having a female. And they know I hate going to the doctor anyway so they want me to be comfortable.

Personally, I prefer a male doctor. I feel I can be more open about personal issues.

Personally I do not care, my doctor is a younger lady (I think she is actually in her early thirties) but you know what it really does not matter because she/all of them are professionals and if you get a boner they should not care. It is not like they have not seen it before, they are a doctor, judas preist.............tones, gtg!

Personally I would prefer a Male also, but hey - They are all Doctors. They have seen everything there is to see. Get a erection ? Who cares its natural, imagine how many they see. You have to understand they are all there to help you and don't care about little things like getting a boner in front of them. Natural.
Whatever you do, do not aviod going to a Doctor with a problem because you are embarrased. They would much rather care about your wellbeing then anything else.

Guys/girl do you prefer a doctor of the same sex? I'm a girl, and I prefer a doctor of the same sex. I think that it would be less awkward because the doctor would be able to relate to me, and I would be alot less embarassed. :)
Have you ever felt real awkward or had an embarrassing experience in the dr office? I have felt awkward when the doctor has to look "down there", and ESPECIALLY embarassed when I had a man urinologist and it was alot more than looking. But...doctors are doctors and they have to do their job to keep us healthy.
If you feel uncomfortable with a woman doctor, you can just ask for a male, but just remember that whichever gender your doctor is, they are experienced with all the puberty changes of both boys and girls, and they will not care if any "changes" happen while they are doing "what doctors do." hehe.
So don't stress. :)

I'm a guy and would definitely rather have a male doctor. They can relate to you easier.

Ive had both and actually prefer the female doctor..she was real cool and I still see her. The male Dr was kinda a prude an never really addressed any specific questions I had, she is much better. Go for a few times and check it out... then let your parents know if you aren't comfortable.

As for OP..
Guys/girl do you prefer a doctor of the same sex? I honestly don't care. It's their job to be professional and treat every patient the same, so it doesn't bother me. May it be a woman, or a man. Either's fine with me.
Have you ever felt real awkward or had an embarrassing experience in the dr office? Lol, no. I was in there once when I was 12 with my mother and the woman goes with the most serious expression, "Have you been involved with sexual activity? Are you bullied at school?"
"No.."
"Are you sure? You seem to be around men a lot."
"What the hell, are you calling me a slut?"
I find it hilarious. Not embarrassing.
